SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY – On June 5, 2025, a San Bernardino County jury at Rancho Cucamonga Courthouse found Sattar Armstrong (42), guilty of multiple felony counts which included lewd acts upon a child under the age of 14, showing pornography to a minor, and contact with a minor for a sexual offense. His victims were between the ages of 9 and 12 years old during his abuse.
The case was presented to our office after extensive investigation conducted by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Crimes Against Children Unit, and Loma Linda University Medical Center Children’s Assessment Center.
In October of 2024, a relative of the oldest victim discovered the conduct and immediately alerted law enforcement. It was evident that Armstrong was utilizing social media messaging apps to communicate with a 12-year-old juvenile, as well as sending and sharing sexually explicit photos and videos of himself doing sexual acts. Armstrong additionally showed the other younger victims’ pornography and exposed his genitalia to them.

During the month-long trial, Deputy District Attorney Melissa Rivera presented evidence including TikTok messages and video evidence of the defendant exposing his genitals which corroborated the victims’ testimony. Additionally, a prior victim of Armstrong’s, who was 12 years old at the time of her abuse, flew in from out of state and testified.
Our District Attorney Victim Advocates and K9 Courtroom Facility Dog Schroeder assisted the children during interviews and testimony.
Armstrong is scheduled to be sentenced August 22nd, 2025. He is facing up to 17 years in prison. Case # FWV24003548
