SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. – On September 6, 2024, the San Bernardino District Attorney’s Office filed charges against Noe Armando Banuelos (32) of Long Beach for his alleged actions which involved a fatal hit and run car crash, causing the death of Richard Pshock, a United States Air Force veteran.
Wednesday, Sept. 4th, Defendant Banuelos was stopped by California Highway Patrol on the I15 freeway where it was found that Banuelos was wanted on a federal arrest warrant. Banuelos fled the traffic stop, exited the freeway while disregarding traffic signals and crashed into Mr. Pshock’s vehicle, killing him.
Subsequently, Defendant Banuelos attempts to flee not only the crash scene, but he also escaped from custody at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. He is now currently in custody at West Valley Detention Center.
The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office filed the following charges against Noe Armando Banuelos:
Count 1 – 191.5(a)– Felony Gross Vehicular Manslaughter While Intoxicated
Count 2 – VC20002(b) – Felony Hit and Run Driving Resulting in Death
Count 3 – PC836.6(b) – Misdemeanor Escape from Arrest
Additionally, special allegations have been filed against Banuelos for fleeing after committing a vehicular manslaughter and prior strike enhancements for a felony 1st degree burglary conviction out of Los Angeles County.
Defendant Banuelos is scheduled to be arraigned Monday September 9, 2024, at the Rancho Cucamonga Superior Courthouse.
