SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. – Prosecutors with San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office filed criminal charges against Marquez Jackson (25) of San Bernardino, for his alleged involvement in a home invasion burglary in Grand Terrace, California. Defendant Jackson and three accomplices were involved in breaking into a home with the resident present who defended himself by firing his concealed carry weapon (CCW) at the suspects.
Of the remaining three suspects, one is a juvenile, one is deceased, and one is yet to be identified and is at large. Defendant Jackson has a prior felony conviction in 2018 for assault resulting in great bodily injury.
At this time, Defendant Jackson is charged with the following crimes: PC 459 – First Degree Burglary with Person Present and PC 29800 – Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
The investigation remains ongoing and additional charges may be added. Defendant Jackson is due to appear for a video arraignment on March 10, at 8:30am at Rancho Cucamonga Superior Courthouse.
