The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges against Luis Sanchez Jr. (Age 43 of Palmdale) for murder in Fontana.
CASE SYNOPSIS
On Sunday, March 14, 2021, officers from the Fontana Police Department responded to the 9100 block of Citrus Ave in Fontana regarding a shots fired call. During the investigation, Luis Sanchez Jr. was arrested.
After reviewing this case, our office has filed charges against Mr. Sanchez for violating the following sections of the California Penal Code:
Penal Code Section 187(a) – Murder (Felony)
Murder is the unlawful killing of a human being, or a fetus, with malice aforethought.
Penal Code Section 29800(a)(1) – Possession Of Firearm By A Felon (Felony)
Any person who has been convicted of a felony under the laws of the United States, the State of California, or any other state, government, or country, or of an offense enumerated in subdivision (a), (b), or (d) of Section 23515, or who is addicted to the use of any narcotic drug, and who owns, purchases, receives, or has in possession or under custody or control any firearm is guilty of a felony.
